Default 450H wiper won't park / intermittent or slow

Wife's 2013 450h is having issues with the wipers. I have read it could be a wiper relay issue, I looked for it and could find where relay is located. I understand this is a common issue and.the first place to look
Anyone know the location or other things to consider?

Could be the switch, could be the motor, could be the wiring. What exactly are the wipers doing (or not doing)?

They don't work on intermittent or park, just function on high speed.

I suspect a faulty switch.

I agree, the switch has worn out.

Just an outside chance that the problem may be in the rain-sensor and wiper delay control since those parts are common in the variable/slow-fast wiper action.

It would shed more light if we have the history ... it stopped working suddenly, there is a play in the stalk switch etc.

That is a great idea. On my Sienna the rain sensor stopped working after the detail guys scrubbed the windshield so much they partially unplugged the wire that goes into it from the bottom. However everything else worked fine except no rain sensing until I plugged it back in farther.

I don't have too much detail they stopped.working is.what she said one day They worked intermittently a couple times correctly now its just full.speed or stop, but they stop anywhere in the windshield
and don't park
no play in stalk or switch
does anyone know the location of the relay? I suspect could test it with the one in my lx570

"park position for wipers" is typically due to a switch connection in the wiper motor. Due to this built in switch, the motor completes it cycle [bring the wipers to park position] even when the driver turns off the wiper in middle of the sweep. [the ignition must be ON for the above mentioned function].

My wager is on the internal electrical connections inside the switch. When the contact surfaces begin to wear out, wiper features (such as intermittent and park) eventually quit working.

Most relays are in the under hood box which has a guide inside the cover.
Or join the Toyota Technical Information System(TIS) for a day for $20 and look it up. That is probably your fastest way to find it.

There are many used wiper switches on eBay and this same one is shared by several Lexus models.
You have to make sure you get one for Rain Sensing.
Here is the part number
Switch, Windshield Wiper - Lexus (84652-0E090)
with rain sensing
