Quick update.... Got the new cooler and installed. All is good now!

Here's the new cooler and all that came with the "part".

I'm curious, did you adjust the fluid level after the repair? Or do you think only a little fluid leaked out that it's not a concern?

So what I did is I put in about a litre of Toyota ATF WS after the radiator, A/T cooler and hoses were all replaced. I had no idea how much in total leaked out before when I saw it was leaking, and during the replacement of all the parts.

Started the car and let it run for about 5mins or so, just to make sure there were no leaks.

Waited until the next day and did a drain of the A/T pan, including the removal of the plastic check tube. There was over 2.5 litres that drained out.

I re-installed the check tube and drain plug and pumped in 3 litres of new Toyota ATF WS. Ran the engine until the A/T fluid hit 104F then removed the drain plug until the fluid was just trickling. Placed a new crush washer on the plug and re-installed to the specified torque.

All done!

Thanks for the answer and the information. I'll check my transmission cooler the next chance I get too.
