Default 2010-2012 Lexus RX450h Taillight/Headlight replacement (preferably LEDS)

New to the Lexus forums, I recently purchased a 2012 Lexus RX450h and so far it has been performing beautifully! I was wondering if anyone figured out a good replacement for the OEM taillights and headlights that are LED. Due to the AFS feature apparently nobody makes a good LED replacement for headlights and as for taillights I’m not sure if the ones for the RX350 are compatible with the 450h so I was wondering if any of you found a replacement. Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated ty

Welcome to CL. If you do some searching you will learn that your questions have been covered in prior threads.

To help out I will state that the tailights are the same in both vehicles, but may be different after the 2013 refresh. Most of those bulbs are LED. Search tail light or taillight on this forum. There are some aftermarket lenses that are discussed.

If you have the HID headlights do not waste your time trying to replace them with LED bulbs as you will not see as well. The headlight housing is designed to work with HID bulbs. However, these HID bulbs, like all bulbs fade over time and mileage so replacement of them with new HID bulbs will make a difference. It takes a D4S bulb.
There are brighter HID bulbs that will fit the housing the same as the original bulbs and allow you to see farther down the road. You can also get a different or whiter color temperature. I think OEM color temp is around 4300K. Take a look at the vendor section on this site, or any of your favorite internet shopping sites. There are a lot of bulbs available. If you go any higher than about 6500K you will not be able to see as well at night as the light is too blue.

Good Luck and hope this information helps you.
