I have a white 2013 RX350. It has blind spot protection. When the car is turned on, mirror rotates to full extension. Once pulled back into working position, it works fine and responds to adjust commands. Mirror looks in perfect condition otherwise.
can motor be fixed?
does it have value to anyone in club?

Welcome to CL. Do some searching using the term mirror and maybe "side Mirror"

You can find used mirrors on eBay etc and youtube videos on how to remove, install and maybe repair it. Note that most Toyota and Lexus mirrors are very similar. The Highlander in particular is a mechanical twin of the RX.

I just had the above mirror replaced because of the initial hyper extension when car turned on. Otherwise mirror with blind spot looks fresh and functions well.
looking to sell original mirror for low price plus $40 shipping.
new OED ones $650 or $850 at dealer
EBay offer for used one $500.
if you need one as is or can fix it, glad to sell

The side view mirror is an assembly [shell, mirror, wiring etc]. The days of repairing the failing component inside an assembly are over. If you are a DIY person and have access to internal parts, you can make an attempt. I would suggest going to a pull a part salvage yard for parts.

The rest are left with the choice of replacing the assembly. New or used.
