Default CarPlay Android Auto now available for Lexus RX 2013-2015 No-Nav

Hi all,
We are happy to announce the availability of VLine VL2 system for Lexus RX 350 450H 2013-2015 without the factory navigation. The system is available here:
https://gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-lexkl.html

With VLine VL2 system for Lexus you can get wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto, and fully functional stand-alone Android right on your factory Lexus screen. Connects to the back of the stereo and display, and does not disable any critical factory system functions such as backup camera, FM Radio, and others.

You can ask us any questions here. Navigational stereos of Lexus RX 3rd Gen are also supported. Check our website https://gromaudio.com to see what is compatible with your vehicle.

Replacing to aftermarket in general will cost more:

nope, anyhow good luck..Just saying at that price point it'll be hard to convince people to buy this let alone taking apart the dash to install it or paying someone X amount to install it.

I am interested in buying a V-line unit for my 2015 RX350 with factory navigation. I would rather use Android Auto navigation and media players over the very plain stock system.

We insist it will be glove box, for easier access and safety of the box. Some installers trying to hide it inside the dashboard, and we are strongly against it for few reasons:
1. The box can get damaged if not fully secured
2. Bluetooth/Wifi signal can suffer if the module is "buried" deep in the dashboard, and it is easy to break the Bluetooth antenna.
3. It is advised to have the unit accessible in case you need to update/maintain it with the USB stick.

Here is an example of the installation inside the glove box:
https://gromaudio.com/installs/vline...glove-box.html

The vehicle in this video is Acura MDX, however the idea is the same.

LOL. The Acura glove-box setup and appearance is nearly the same as my 2015 RX350 glove box including the cabin air filter box setup.

Thank you. I may order a V-line pretty soon because I do prefer Carplay over the stock system everything. I miss Google maps the most with its always updated road maps with live traffic information. Having album art on the display is plus too. My 2015 stock radio menus and info screen looks like one from a very early 2000 model.

Can you recommend an stereo shop in L.A. that will do the install? I don't DIY and would rather pay a professional.

The subject may have been intermixed with non vs with Nav.

You can check our installer lookup page here: https://gromaudio.com/installers.html
In general any qualified stereo shop can do the installation. For example Al & Ed's Autosound has the experience installing our products.

We recommend you to schedule the install on the weekday. This way the shop can call us if they will have any questions.
