another in long series of Headlamp assembly / bulb / type questions, but I searched posts here for way over an hour and did not see late - like last couple of years - on this specific question. I'm forced via wreck to replace front headlights in some sort of fashion. Insurance is likely to give one choice only, to replace like-for-like - in my case meaning the crunched HALOGEN rig comes out, new [aftermarket? I dunno yet] exact replacement goes in. Assuming that is the case, what BULBs/technology should go in there... I can do that myself or if I know the guys at the shop, get them to.

The wiring might be a little different, but if it is, it can probably be pretty easily adapted. I would see the back of both assemblies on eBay and notice if you see different connectors / wires. Even better if you had the two wiring diagrams.
