2015 RX350... No Heat on Passenger Side (front)
Hello all, please help.
I have a 2015 Lexus RX350 and the heat on the passenger side is not working... everything else works fine.... the ac&heat on the front driver and rear work fine... the direction of air adjust on both sides as intended, but the passenger side is ice cold... any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Do a search using the term Servo (or blend door actuator) and you will find older threads discussing this issue.
Bottom line is that replacing or repairing them is a pain.

They are usually buried fairly far into the dash behind the HVAC vents. As previously mentioned, they can be a real pain to get to and you must be careful not to break the various plastic parts that must be removed in order to access them. If you decide to dive in, go slowly be careful, and document where everything fits.

You will have to do some searching as described above to find any old threads here. I suggest you also do a youtube search for Lexus blend door actuator etc. There are some videos.
It involves much disassembly of the dash and digging underneath it to get at stuff. A lot of preparation is recommended before tackling this so you can get it back together so it works again.
I have never dealt with this and count it as one of those very difficult repairs where I would try to trade the car in before fixing it.

I have had this same problem in a thread before...it is likely your servo motor blend door (sp?). It is a pain to fix as the whole dashboard has to come out and shops themselves will take at least a full day fixing it...usually a few grand to do due to labor.

that is beyond scary.... i did partially disassemble my dash... some how my passenger blend door gear was off track and slipping out of the grove. I applied a bit a pressure with my finger until i heard the tooth snap in place... so far it been over a week working fine for a $0 fix... lets pray that is all it needed for a "forever fix!
