Fog Light Replacement
2015 RX350 FWD
Just noticed that the passenger-side fog light is out. I assume it is the bulb. Any tips on the fastest and easiest way to get to it?

I found an old post on this:
To just change the fog light bulb on my 2010 i removed the black plastic pieces under the hood and then i was just able to reach my arm down under the headlight and get the bulb out and replace it. If you look down in the engine bay under the headlights you can see the foglights.
Then these longer DIY threads that should be stickies:

I have monster-sized hands which are probably not going to fit by reaching down through the engine bay. If I do manage to squeeze them down into that area, I will not be able to do anything with them. Looks like I will have to remove the plastic wheel well liner (which can be a pain to pull off and then properly reinstall) and access the fog light bulb the conventional way.
I ordered two Hella halogen replacement bulbs yesterday from Rockauto for about $16 total. As rarely as my wife (it's her vehicle) uses the fog lights (almost never), that is more than good enough.

I changed mine out with the morimoto XB Led sealed projection units. They throw an awesome beam and have been working great for 6 or 7 years now. I had to get at them from below after removing a few of the plastic shield and wheel liner fasteners.

Update:
Changed the burned-out passenger-side fog light bulb this afternoon by peeling back the plastic wheel well liner. Had to remove multiple 10mm bolts and quite a few of the stupid plastic clips in order to do so. The old bulb refused to twist in its assembly for removal (counterclockwise) and I was afraid I was going to break the plastic housing by forcing it so I removed the plastic fog light assembly (just one Phillips screw), took the assembly in both hands, and still had to fight the old bulb in order to twist it out. Never had a burned-out bulb fight me like this one did. Put everything back together and had to dip into my spares supply of the black plastic clips because I broke a couple of them during removal. Man, how I hate those things - all 10mm bolts would have been a much better solution on these vehicles.
I ordered two replacement bulbs last week because I expect the factory driver-side fog light bulb to burn out in the not-too-distant future, so I am prepared for it.

One of my fog light lenses broke a few years ago and I haven't got around to replacing it yet. I think that means I have to take off the bumper. BoooUrns!
Hopefully one of these DiY tutorials will help me out.

You don't have to take off the bumper. I replaced my fog lights with the Morimoto integrated LED units, and you can reach them from the top. I think they're held by one screw. The only problem is you can't see what you're doing, and you just have to feel it.

Same. I was able to replace the whole light unit with the same LED's and didn't need to remove the bumper cover. It was a pain, but doable from inner fender well.

What year is yours and which set did you get? I see one marked Oval and one that just says 10-21 for the XB/EVO+ on retrofitsource.com, but I don't know which one to get for my 2015. I know smknkeyz has a 2013, so I'm not sure if that is an exact match for what my 2015 uses.
Thanks,
Jeff
