Question Can anyone ID this glove box part's name?

Can anyone tell me the name of this part? I need to try to replace it on a 2010 RX350 (VIN starts with a '2') and any diagrams I can find on parts sites are too fuzzy to make out. It may be the "stopper", but I honestly can't tell.

This is the (spring-loaded) part that keeps the glove compartment closed and gets pushed in when you press the glovebox latch to open it:

I don't see that part listed separately.

I think it is the same on most Toyota and Lexus vehicles. I would look around a Pick & Pull junkyard that has Toyotas and Lexus'. They would probably only charge a few bucks. Or you may have to buy a glove box door.

Or is this it

That looks like the part that's no longer coming out of the glove box door! I'm assuming there's supposed to be some kind of spring behind it that's now broken, and can't tell if the spring is part of this or is a separate piece. But this pin is the part that normally protrudes from the door but pushes in to latch when you close it. Hoping I can fix this because a replacement door ((unless I can find one in a junkyard is $900+...

Thanks!

The ebay listing states that is for the 2nd gen RX350 not the 2010. It also invites calls to the dealer but ebay won't allow listing of phone number.
Call the parts dept at Bell Lexus north Scottsdale who is the ebay seller and ask about the part and spring for your 2010. Have the ebay listing number handy.

Wow, thanks again. I did notice that the year was different, but had enough info from the answers to know what the part was called. I found a similar part for my car for about $20, so (assuming I can figure out the installation) that will be my first try. Second will be that glove box door. Thanks again, all.
