2010 RX Heat Issues
Hello All,
I’m looking for a little help/advice with a heating issue. The issue is that the passenger side heating controls work great but the driver’s side only blows cold air. This is problematic given the cold temperatures north Idaho is having right now. I have checked the fuses for continuity and the driver’s side blend actuator was replaced by my son yesterday (I’m out of state). A reputable Toyota dealer replaced the coolant back in October. Other than replacing the driver’s side air mix servo, is there anything else I am missing that I should be looking at? I have no issues taking it to the dealer for service but they are booked up a few weeks out.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to CL and the third generation aging RX350 forum.
Did you see the thread 4 down from yours regarding no heat on the passenger side as it is basically the same problem and be of some help. However the solution is not easy most of the time especially since he apparently replaced the driver side door blend actuator. My first inclination is to double check that work.
Did you check the coolant level?

Thanks for the response. I did see the other thread and your ideas make sense. On my part I didn’t think of checking the coolant level given that the passenger side heat is working. I’ll have my kid double check that the actuator is installed properly and that the air mix servo is actually moving when the temperature is adjusted down.
