Hello everyone,

I have a Lexus rx350 2010, it opens by the cabin bottom and from the control bottom, but the Liftgate is not closing by the door bottom nor the control bottom,

When I push the door bottom a continues beep sound is heard,


Any Idea on what could be the problem!!!!

Could be a failed motor or faulty hydraulic lift supports. Can you close the rear hatch manually?

Yes, it closes manually with no problems,

If the hatch lifts then the struts should be okay. You may have a motor or sensor issue.

Not trying to be impolite here, but I can not comprehend the first post. A little more explanation is needed.

1. Manual open and close works.
Please clarify ... does it take extra effort to open or close?
If you do not support the tail gate at various open/close [1/4, 1/2, 3/4] Does the gate balance at those spots.?
[Abnormal, fail to almost stay --> bad struts]

2. Make sure the button that controls remote operation is enabled .. in the glove compartment.
Does the tail gate open with the button on the keyFob [remote]
Does the tail gate open with the tailgate button by the driver
