I have a Lexus RX350 , year 2013, with no navigation system or menu. (Basic) . When I drive the car, it still thinks the door is open and the door ajar light is on. The beeping sound is constant and it's very annoying. Is there a way to disable the sound? I've tried the odometer reset and it didn't work. Any ideas? Thx

Honestly, I have no clue why it thinks it's open. I also changed the ajar door switch (the black one), and it's still beeping, I took out the fuse, unplugged all the connectors, reset the battery etc but it's still beeping. If none of these worked I assume it's a wiring issue and it will cost so much to fix it, so all I want to do is to just simply mute the beeping sound. With some models of Toyota you should be able to use the odometer to disable the beeping sound, I just can't find a way to do it in Lexus.

One possible explanation (assuming that the doors are all, in fact, closed) is a bad switch in the door-jamb that shuts off the dome lights and beeper when the door is fully-closed. It is often a pin or tab that sticks out of the door-jamb. When the door shuts against it, it pushes in the pin and shuts off the beeper. If that switch/pin is broken or failed, that could be the problem.
You mentioned you changed one of the door-ajar switches. It may also be one of the other ones that is causing the problem.

Assumptions can misguide.
first collect data ... do you see the door ajar instrument display? Switch the cabin light to door-open-lit, does it stay lit? For some reason [copy rights maybe] the exact door open picture is not supported in Lexus and one has to check all 4+1 doors.
Cautionary "ding" can be due to many reasons ... ex: Seat Belt not engaged. On the passenger side there is more smarts built in like ... sensor that determines some one is sitting and seat belt not engaged.
