Draining the battery in 30 minutes
While I waited for the kid to finish their sports I was in the car listening to a podcast via Bluetooth. I turned the accessories on to avoid the car turning off after ten minutes to save power (lol). I don't think I had the air on but after half an hour the audio and nav screen starting cutting out/flickering so I turn the car off. Lo and behold dead battery when I try and start it up ten minutes later.
I have sat in my car listening to the radio for half an hour at a time with no issues. Battery is three years old. Don't think its the alternator as the car turns over fine now after being jumped and driving around for a bit.

Always keep the engine ON when using accessories or electronics that are being powered by the car. It doesn’t take much to drain an even fully charged battery in a Lexus without the engine on…

Practically all auto stores will test out the battery under load and the charging system to sell you a new battery.
3yrs is somewhat normal life of battery [specially for hot and cold region].
Headlamps and brake lights are major drain [other than the start].
