Default Heated steering wheel issues!

Over the past couple days I noticed an issue with my heated steering wheel. I push the button and the light turns on but the steering wheel doesn't get warm at all. Yesterday it only started heating up 30 minutes into the drive. This morning it worked right away but just now on a long drive I tried again and nothing.

anyone else have this issue? 2022 RX350 F SPORT

I haven’t read that anywhere but it should be covered under warranty so just swing by and get your coffee and bagel and let them figure it out.

Does your vehicle have an AUTO setting for the steering wheel heater? If so, you might have pressed that and vehicle thought it was not cold enough to turn up the wheel heater sufficiently. That happens sometimes with our Lexus seat heaters turned on AUTO.

I know I don’t have that auto option for my steering wheel like my seats but yours may be different

I don't believe the 4GEN RX has an AUTO setting for the steering wheel - our 2017 certainly does NOT.

Agreed. My 2021 does not have the auto setting, even though my 2019 ES does have that feature. I would bet the new generation RX has it, but I can’t confirm it.

There is no "Auto On" for the heated wheel. Once the button is lit the heat will remain on for 30 minutes. It then must be restarted if you want it on again. Sounds like there is a problem with the timer circuit or relay. Bring it to the dealer.
