Purchase help on 2021 RX350 FSport
Hi, Want to ask people in the know about a 2021 RX350 FSport purchase. I just got a 2023 IS350 Fsport . My dealer has a 2021 RX350 which was their loaner car with 20K miles. Gets a certified pre owned warranty (longer than factory warranty) and 4 free services up to 40K. The car needs some detailing which because I did this for $$$ and a hobby no one will satisfy me coming from this dealer. Drove it and noticed that at over 70 MPH on rough highway both side mirror glass seemed to vibrate a little (not a big deal). I think the original list was $57??? If they are telling me the truth. They want $48 for the car. They came out 1-2K light on my trade allowance. The dealer seems very set and hard to get any more movement which is disappointing because I just bought a new car from them a month ago. The RX has been there awhile for sale. would you consider a dealer loaner. IT s been fully serviced. What to look for on this model, advise on this model. Thoughts on pricing or anything else. I buy a lot of new cars often so I m not new to this but am new to Lexus. Thank you!!
PS/ also looked at Telluride , explorer, Subaru (which I own)... tulluride and explorer not reported as reliable, service debts are scary, LOL.
Edit/. they also have a 2022 FWD Premium with 14K for about 1K more. the other is AWD.

Dealer loaner is often base model, but an fsport might have been the demo car with everything. So you need to weigh if it has all the features you want, and you are paying for all those things. As you said, you need to look through it for wear and damage. I took a look at an event car that only had 12k miles and it was treated rough with scratched up trunk and back seats, so mileage may vary is the phrase of the day
My only advice is if it doesn't make you happy due to some issue other than price, don't get it. There should be some movement in typical 3year lease returns, so new listings for 3yearold RXes in different condition should come up again.
However, if the issue is only about price this is a personal thing and you will just have to see what the market will bear. Pricewise it isn't entirely out of line. You can jump onto several listing websites, and they tell you these days how it stacks up compared to market price. You can't make them sell it to you, don't waste your time and effort. just move on.
If the market price of used rx is turning you off, for sure expand your criteria and take a look at other vehicles.

From what I have seen people are not gentle when they test drive a vehicle; for obvious reasons.
I personally am picky and think that the first couple of thousand miles are important for the longevity of the car.
