I have started experiencing something weird on my Power Back Door (Liftgate). It open fine with remote, touchless, touching the open latch, or by clicking the button near the steering wheel.
However, when I try to close it by any means (close button on the door, button near steering wheel, or remote), it make double beep sound. I have to try it 4-5 times and then it closes eventually.
When I searched through the forums, I found that people have problems opening and closing both whereas I do not have any problem opening the door.
Has anybody experienced this and is there a solution to it without going to the dealer and spend $100s just to diagnose?

You might try a "recalibrate" of the power back door. It looks simple enough and worth a try. In the video they are using a 2022 Toyota Highlander so the controls will be slightly different.
