I've left my vehicles sit all winter before without issue but use a CTEK tender now just in case if I know a vehicle is going to sit for more than a month. I install the CTEK QD portion attached to the battery as soon as I bring it home and then plugging/unplugging it is super fast and simple. Hell I spend more time making sure the cord going to the outlet is not a tripping hazard.

I do the same thing with a car I seldom drive which is kept under a car cover.. That battery is located in the trunk, and I mounted a tender in the trunk. I just run an extension cord to it and the cover keeps the trunk closed.
Been doing this for 4yrs now.
