BT and CARPLAY music disconnects??
how many of you use other streaming music services, like spotify, apple music, tidal? how are those streaming services connected to your RX? bluetooth or apple carplay? im starting to get frustrated with the BT and apple carplay where I get small drops while listening on both BT or apple carplay. Anyone here experience the same issue on the gen4? OR i would get this no microphone pop up AND i would have to hit the toggle on/off on the power **** on the headunit. Is this some kind of bug that LEXUS needs to resolve???

I am connected using a wireless carplay dongle () in my 2021RX 350. My phone connects to the dongle via bluetooth, which enables wireless carplay. I unpaired my phone (bluetooth) from the vehicle itself as pairing it to both the car and the dongle can create issues. That said, I regularly stream from Spotify and use waze for navigation and never have any issues with it disconnecting. The audio on the music isn't as high quality as being directly plugged in, but given I'm not a sound engineer and my vehicle has the premium audio (not mark levinson) it sounds just fine for us. When using the dongle, there is a small lag when you switch songs on the steering wheel. I've never seen the issue you are describing. Perhaps unpair your phone from the vehicle (forget the phone in vehicle) and re-pair to see if the issue continues. For carplay, I don't use the cord, but there are two ports in your console for car play. Perhaps try the other port to see if the issue follows. Barring all else, take it in to the dealer. I believe the firmware on these updates over the air, my 2016 RX required me to use a USB update method but I don't see that method in my 2021 so I'm assuming its over the air (OTA). Good luck.
