Hello
I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hello. Have an RX350 on order that we should be able to pick up next week and are looking forward to the experience. We have owned a couple of Lexus's before. One was a 4 door sedan and the other an SUV (RX 300 I believe). The sedan was a good experience but the prior SUV not so much.
It's good to find this forum as I have found that there is a lot more honesty on forums like this than other sources of information.
I hope the year is starting well for all of you.
Charlie

Beautiful car. Congrats. Buy your wife a new phone now
I sat in third row of Atlas, Qx60, Pilot, and RX350L at the auto show.
At 5'5" is it usable? Sure. It isn't comfortable. It is also very claustrophobic. All the 3row I saw it, it sat in, it was the worst for me, as an adult.

QX60 had much more usable third row but if we needed a third row that often we would be getting a different vehicle.

Okay, you folks can now welcome me into the fold. Yesterday, I purchased for the wife, this fully-optioned Obsidian with black interior, 2017 F Sport model with only 4800 miles on the clock. Includes Mark Levinson audio, cold-weather package, tow-prep package, Panoramic View Monitor, HUD, heated/ventilated seats, touch-free hatch opener, and the panoramic moon-roof that I was hoping I could forego. I'm going to add OEM mudguards and a tow hitch for the rare occasion I'll use it.

Cargo space ...
Since our local dealer didn't have any 450h or 450hL in stock, we compared the ride, storage, seating, performance, ... on the 350 vs 350L. We couldn't tell the difference in ride, performance and seating (front 2 rows) but the cargo storage was considerable. The L because of the 3rd seat, the cargo area configuration or space is 2 inches shorter (height from cargo floor to the privacy cover) and width was considerably more narrow by about 7 inches based on our measurements. Naturally the depth on the L is much longer with the 3rd seat folded down and with the 3rd seat up, storage is very minimal. The dealer is supposed to get couple of 450h and 450hL in this week and we'll evaluate it then but the shrunk height and width in the cargo area on the L shocked us. Our initial thought was the two models would have the same height and width in the cargo area and we would just get the L for some added depth but now we are not sure what we would find on the 450h and 450hL. Salesman assured us the cargo space configuration is identical on the 350 vs 450h and 350L vs 450hL. Since we do frequent cross-country driving, cargo space and cargo configuration are important to us.

Awesome! And thank you for posting pics. Have you have a Lexus hybrid before? What are your thoughts on it? Did you go for it because of quieter/ nicer ride..or for finances to try and beat rising gas prices? I'm unsure how I'd feel long term on the engine cut in/out, and drive highway 70% of the time. If in stop and go traffic, seems a great way to go.
