Any ideas between U.S. version?
Hey everyone!
SO I was thinking of getting the NX but I hated how the U.S. version lacked so many great features (panoramic moon roof, HUD display.)
Also, the one thing I love most about the F sports, the beautiful speedometer!
Now enter the RX. All these new features listed, however, are these for U.S. cars or just all cars and when the U.S. comes out they'll take out all the great features again.
I'm hoping they leave these great features for the U.S. Rx !

IMHO, exact options and packages for each country and WHEN they will be ready for sale are still to be revealed. If RX history repeats itself, we won't have that until just a few weeks/months before the first ones hit our shores. The info may become available earlier to dealership sales mgrs that are responsible for special ordering who have visibility to some amount of detail on options and packaging when those systems open up to them. Be aware though, just because a feature is available in a particular country, does not mean you may find a lot of them on dealer lots or in the option combinations you desire unless you special order -- such has been the case with say PCS and HUD on 3rd Gen RX here in the US where those options are loved by those of us that have them, but not seen as frequently on new RX sitting on a lot for sale.
What you do have going for you is that the press releases in the Lexus USA Newsroom reference the features you are interested in, so those are likely to become available here. However, in the case of the 2013 RX when it was announced in early 2012 -- it was said to come with BSM at the Geneva reveal, which it eventually did, but not until a few months after the first 2013's came off the line -- e.g. my special ordered 2013 RX450h that was one of the first built in Japan does not have BSM, but later shipments included the feature in similar US packaging options. The 2013's were a refresh to the original 3rd Gen line, so things could be different with a whole new generation, although, we saw a similar thiing occur with original 2010 3rd Gen RXs -- first ones delivered in the US came with a sunglasses holder above the rearview mirror; a few months later that area was replaced with SOS.
