They went a little overboard on the F-Sport front end. Good grief...too many lines that are going 18 different directions.

I noticed that none of those US-spec RX have the fancy L-shaped LED headlights, which is very disappointing. I hope it's not going to be an option that they keep from the US cars. I'm not a fan of those regular headlights...completely changes the look of the front (less aggressive).

Now that Lexus has finally got the horizontal slats on the regular models to look good, the mesh in the F-Sport models begin to look bad comparatively. The lack of triple-L LEDs surely doesn't help either.

Pics are from the event in Portland. Personally I think it looks great, probably much more on person. Pictures don't do angles well

Thanks for heads up that it was in Portland. I'm sure going to be POd if they only come with the old boring lights. They did do the same thing with the RC in the U.S. Let's just hope it's at least an option.

I think the main purpose of the event was to evaluate the drive train, ride and handling instead of spec.

The pursuit of F
The single-projector LED looks great for a base headlamp unit. From these pictures, the black F Sport is my favorite maybe because it better integrates the floating roof which I've not warmed up to yet on lighter colors... will have to see in person.

These pictures really highlight my need to see this thing in person.
I've been very enthusiastic about the styling thus far. My wife and I have discussed it extensively as a replacement for our current RX.
However, I'm not digging it in several of these pictures, which may just be the pictures, angles, lighting, etc.
It looks like the chrome window trim is missing from the bottom portion of the rear most window. There is chrome trim all along the tops of all side windows, all the way back, but for whatever reason it stops abruptly at the rear door on the bottom of the windows. That looks unfinished to me.
Some of the angles and proportions seem off too. Now I just don't know...
And for location, yes, that's the Portland area (St. Johns, actually). I wonder when they did this. I was just down there last week.

Like the side profile, ok on the rear but that front. I've tried even in person to like it. Not jumping for joy that's for sure. Might have to wait another cycle for me.

Nooo!
They will hold the headlights til mid cycle refresh?!
Oh well atleast by then, could probably get a decent discount...but then my 2015 250 F sport won't be worth north of 30k..
