Most Dealers will sell at invoice price if you request it.

Wow just found out about this thread haha... at the TOP of the forum.. Let me be more detailed.

I was quoted a fully loaded f sport AWD rx for 56,753.
MSRP after everything was 58,974.
Total Dealer Invoice was 55,753.

Costco pricing is what gave me 56,753.

BTW.. Kelly Blue Book Online Price Range was ( 57,454-59,215) and the fair purchase price was 58,335.

I didn't haggle or ask for anything else. I asked him the best price I could get and that was it.

Dealer was the Magnus Lexus in Fremont.

Does anyone know if they got something lower, good deal, ask them to throw in free stuff?

As this is my first car purchase I wanted anyones advice. I saw someone on the forum to ask them not to was the car, remove the sticky protection, etc.

Sound off and let me know what you guys think!!!
can anyone chime in?? Not sure if this is a good deal or not!

It is fair deal I think. A month ago they only gave me $500.00 off on Costco discount.

Default Base RX AWD data point

Hi, new here. Thanks everyone for an amazing thread. I'm in the market for a new RX350 AWD in Norcal. Some quick data points for yall:

Base RX 350 AWD with front heated seats. MSRP on dealership websites in the $45k range, +/- $200 depending on other random options.

Got a quote from one norcal dealership for $500 off MSRP. Ehhh.

Got another quote today from another dealership when I mentioned Costco discount. He says their Costco offer is $150 over invoice. Then he quoted me for $42,800 for a $44,880 MSRP car. So a little over $2k off. Good deal? Should I take it or try to negotiate down more?

We are paying cash, no financing.

I do want to add the roof rails so I have the option to put a rack on later. And I'd also like to get the 20" rims b/c the base ones look kinda lame. Any tips for negotiating for these things when I show up at the dealership?

Lastly, I noticed Costco has 50% off parts if you fill out a survey after buying, so should I wait and get them after I but the car?

Thanks!!
Just made a similar purchase in the northeast: base 2016 RX + AWD + heated seats + lift gate + winter mats + accessory package. MSRP = 45329, dealer took off $3K for a final price 42329 (excluding doc fees). Did not use costco or any other programs. I actually got the same price from 2 different dealerships, they seem to be very motivated to close before 12/31.

Went in the dealership today to do a comparo between the RX vs the NX and while I was there I inquired about the pricing structure. Dealership even before we took the test drive flat out offered 10% on any NX but sticker on the RX.

They seem to also have some weird initial launch configs.

Majority have the 12.3, LSS+ non f sport in any color and heated and cooled seats.

No pano roofs, one to two F sports which are already spoken for.

Interesting thus far.

On a side note the Fsport NX vs RX is night and day. I tested each seperately and the quality and performance is amazing in the RX. The accelerator response makes it seem as though you have endless power on tap. While the NX seems as though the car is running out of steam (although the turbo likes to spool)

I placed a special order today on a fully loaded 450h F-Sport in silver lining/black. My dealer gave me about $2,000 off, not quite twice as much as the Costco discount. Close though. Some options/accessories were thrown in at no cost. It's the fourth RX I've purchased from them. Another dealer told me flat out no discounts on special orders. My dealer said it's true for them too except for long time customers like myself. Deal was written up and signed within an hour. Now the waiting game begins.

Default Congrads!

Did you search cars.com for inventory cross country?
I did and found exactly what I wanted. Then most dealers will sell for invoice almost 4k off...

So question. Whats your vehicle order look like. Right now with a fully loaded MSRP of $59K, the invoice on that vehicle is 6.5% off or about 4800-4900 off.

I can't speak for the rest of the country, however in Southern California several dealers are willing to sell at invoice. Check http://www.nadaguides.com/ for msrp vs invoice. Cars.com will search dealer inventory in real time cross country.

Have you tried a dealer out of state like so. Cal?
Try Longo Lexus or South Bay Lexus!
