I got really lucky on this white/red. It is a long story but moral of the story is to keep contacting dealerships to see what is incoming. I swear each time I would talk to the same dealer I would get different responses lol.

Since you had a do-over on ordering your car, besides color, was there anything you wished you had added from the first purchase that you did indeed add? Conversely, was there anything that you removed (or didn't order) the 2nd time around? The version as I spec it out is about $62,920 MSRP. Yours was in the $60,xxx range. I am in LA also and may reach out to one day about the white/black 450h F Sport. I am just waiting to see what VW plans to do about my 2012 Touareg TDI (diesel), before I make the next move. At 62,920 you're only like $800 away from getting one with everything. If you're spending this much on a vehicle, get everything. You earned it and so did I do that's what I did. always buy the best and you'll never be disappointed.

I promise I will get just about everything!!! The MSRP that I see most commonly for the RX450h F sport is $63,524 (when I built the car on NADA guides, it for some reason came out a bit lower (so I probably left off a few small items that I am happy to have or not). My point wasn't so much about that, but what features SFocLA didn't think were necessary on the re-order (or 1st order for that matter), or had to adds the 2nd time around. There is a price difference between his version and the one I am looking at, so I was curious. Thanks.

Things I wish I had added- were mainly the triple beam LEDs for asthetic reason but obviously better headlights in general. If you compare prev gen headlights to non LED version of ours its very similar and I didnt like that.

I can not comment on the rest of the new safety features this new car will have because I have not used it yet but I would assume like others have said might as well go all out. The main goal buying my first 4th gen RX was just to keep things simple and I wanted better resale value. Adding all the bells and whistles does not translate to higher selling prices in the future. AND at the same time WHITE was so hard to get below MSRP back when it just came out I basically took any white f sport that was a deal. I paid $800 over invoice for that back on Dec 24, 2015.

Things I would have removed 2nd time around- not much maybe the heated steering wheel, I didnt use that as much.

In terms of the hybrid, there was one at Lexus of Southbay (ask for Benajmin) white with red interior last time I checked. I bet he can give you a deal if you are ready here is what I have in my email history of that car, who knows if its still avaliable but he was willing to sell it to me for invoice.
