Default RX350 AWD 2016 quote

Got the first quote by email 6.9K off MSRP of 54.6K.(~12.8% off, incentive included). Any suggestions how to proceed? Many thanks.

Tax: $3,188
Sub-Total : $54,187
Minus Lexus Current Offers:
Lexus Financing - APR 0.9% at 60 months with $1,000 finance cash incentive.
New Sub-Total: $53,187
I was offering $49,500 (out the door price) given that the new 2017 models are the same price point as the 2016 without the Lexus Current Offers and this 2016 RX will be 1 year old in less then two months from now!

My question, am I being to aggressive with my offer price? I would like to be in the 12%-15% of MRSP if possible (more is ideal of course), their offer is around 9.4% roughly. My offer of $49,500 was a real low ball number that I am hoping they will meet me somewhere in the middle.

Thank you in advance any input!
This is what I was offered on a similarly equipped car
Internet Price: $47,988.00*
MSRP: $56,169.00

I believe it was like 15.8% off or something close to that. The kicker was none of the other dealers in my area would even consider matching it. Where are you located? If you are close to GA I know they had 2-3 left.

GA is the best deals I have seen. NJ is not more than 6500$ ... for a 53K car.

~12.3% off MSRP is really good in my book!
Hi Darith, Can you PM me the details of the San antonio dealer. I'm interested in the 2016 Rx350...

Default Lexus December to Remember

Looking at a 2016 RX F sport, MSRP is 60,499. Lexus no haggle price is 54,500. Should I wait till the December to Remember sale in a few weeks or make a offer on the 2016. Currently i can get 0.9% and $1000 rebate. I am also having a tough time finding the Nebula Gray with Red Interior. I heard the sale starts somewhere between Nov. 7th and 14th.

There probably wont be any 2016 F-Sports left by then. The 4 dealers around me had a total of 12 2016 RX's in stock. If you can find what you are looking for, go ahead and make the purchase. Also, my bank had the same interest rate as lexus so I got the low interest rate plus the $2000 cash back since I didnt go through lexus for financing.

Default price

should i try and get the car around $52-$53K without the rebate? Do you think that will be insulting to the dealer?

If You think it will be insulting to the dealer, it will get very hard for You to negotiate as they will easily convince You that they are making a huge loss and what they are offering is the best deal.
Just put Your price out to the dealers saying thats what You are looking to spend and whoever gives You the best price You will buy from them. You can say that You are willing to wait for December to Remember. You can also mention that You are also considering other brands besides the Lexus RX. They want Your business. If one dealer is not going to do it, there are others out there that will.
Thank You.

Look a page back at what I got my 2016 F-Sport for that retailed for a little over $60K.

I havent seen anyone get a better deal than I did and no dealer in my area would match it. Realistically, $53k-$55k before rebate is what I would expect to pay.

I ended up snagging a grey/red F sport for around $7300 off MSRP. You should go for it, the car will go by the time the event rolls around.

Just got a call from Lexus Corporate. The dealer is writing me a check for the additional $500. I caught them on technicality (and called it a fraud and Lexus Corp convinced the dealer to give me the $500) ...

Now my MSRP $57764.00 comes out to be $51064.00 after all discounts and rebates ... I took the $1500 (+$500) as I did not finance ... Should be one of the best in NJ or close to best. MD and GA have better deals ...

Now today I see Lexus increased the cash offer to $2000.

All dealers are crazy untrue - they did a deal with me on 10/04/2016 with an expired $1500 rebate when on 10/04/2016 onwards the rebate is $2000.

Can I go back and ask for my additional $500 rebate...Is it is a Lexus rebate or a dealer rebate

This is the deal I got today, please let me know if you thinks it's a good deal or not, I truly appreciated!

RX 350 F-Sport 2016 Caviar with Black Leather Trim:
MRSP: $57,484
Sales Price: $51,000 (this includes the $1,000 off with Lexus special financing at 0.9% APR)
Running boards installed: $500
Doc Fees: $349
Discounted to $51,500 + doc fee + taxes = $55,090

that's roughly 11.1% off MRSP. I put down a $2,000 deposit which is refundable. I am looking to get the input of this forum before I make the final purchase. Thanks all!

Where are you located?

Get the financing through your own bank or credit union. My Credit union gave me a slighty better rate than the lexus "special" financing. This way you get the extra $1000 cash back.
