If you click on the "EXPERIENCE" tab at the top of the web page, it lists 295 HP for the 2016 RX 350 and 308 net HP for the RX 450H.
This appears to be the correct specs.
If you click on the "CONFIGURE & PRICE" tab then it does list 270 HP, which is what I think you refer to. This is most likely incorrectly taken from the 2015 Model year info. The fuel rating appears to be correct though.
Yeah that is what I meant. Didn't look at the other pages. Thanks

While I recognize the Canadian dollar has dropped almost 25% in value compared the US dollar in the past year and a bit, this pricing is really a significant increase. While the base is nicely equipped at $55k, at the upper end trims near $70k, I would seriously consider other options.
I suspect another reason for the price hike is to create some segment separation with the NX, which at the top trim in Canada is the same as the base RX now.

I am shocked at the pricing. A fully loaded MDX can be had for thousands less, with the pricing released I'm now starting to look at some other options.

Yikes. With those pricing, I would get a German SUV. Sure, the reliability is less, but it would drive a lot better than a Camry-based, FWD-based wagon.
Maybe VW will start discounting its version of the Porsche Cayenne Diesel when EPA approves the fix for the 3.0 TDI.

But if you do look for a similar sized SUV from German competitors, it is even more expensive. For example, a 2016 X5 xDrive 35i starts at MSRP $66000. With that premium price, a base X5 xDrive 35i does not even have LED headlight which I think it is a complete joke. It is even more ridiculous than a car without power folding mirrors which I would complain about most models in the Lexus lineup for North America.
I was shocked at the pricing of new RX, too as I naturally compare it with the last generation of RX. However, I think the pricing for the new RX is still competitive as they offer more features at a much lower price. And the 2016 RX is definitely 1/2 class up than the previous one.

Yeah, the Germans are still pricier but Lexus was also always about a strong value proposition which has decreased now.

Not really. The wheels are tied to the package. Base gets the 18", and the two other available styles are 20" wheels (one F Sport, one for non-F Sport). However, you could always pay ~3K as a "accessory" for the 20" wheels/tires added to the base RX if you so choose.
One of my gripes with the new pricing/packaging is that in order to have the mandatory 12.3" screen (and nicer better-suited larger wheels), you need to spend minimum 63K+ tax (or over 70K w/tax) a significant jump of about 7K over last year's.

This thread is a bit old but if anyone in Canada could chime in on what the going pricing is off msrp? obviously since it's new I don't expect more than 2 to 3k off. Too bad about our dollar it doesn't make much sense to switch models even though these 2016 are nice (as all new models are).
