Beauty. Do you notice a difference in the quality of the leather with the semi-aniline leather? It is softer than the normal leather? Caviar and parchment go really well together. There is something about dark metallics and lighter interiors that suits luxury cars. BMW almost always used a dark grey exterior/parchment interior in their new model photos.
thank you...Yeah the Lux leather is tad softer. But some of that is also due to the whole interior being more luxurious on that package. Kind of sucks you in... BUT the leather is softer and being 6'2 I really wanted the power thigh extension. Really helps a long legged guy.
I went in wanting black interior...but to me this is probably the only area where the MDX was better. Their black leather was richer looking to me than all the crazy stitching so visible in the RX. The parchment just screams Luxury and the Exterior Caviar is my fave.
Got the one assembled in Japan for my wife on Feb 8th
today , 21 day later, got 1500 miles on it. Really glad we got away from German engineering !
a few things we still getting used to, but overall happy with it !
I will post some pictures when I get the car back, it is in for opticoat, xpel, and tint. I haven't let the wife drive it unless really REALLY needed and it has been in detail shop for almost a week. 450h is Matador Red similar color to the XC90 that it replaced. Should get back tomorrow and pictures will follow :-)
I ordered a F Sport 450H... can you tell me what is opticoat and xpel?
I don't feel so bad then. I thought $1200 might be high because he is the only dealer in the city. So you never have to wax your car again?
That's right, no more waxing. The big deal for me is the ease at which dirt should come off the car when I wash it. It should go a long way to reducing swirls because I can be gentler during the wash process.
I like the roof rack look on the RX... I read somewhere that rook rack isn't available if you do have a pano sunroof...do you have a panoramic sunroof in yours?
