New 2017 RX-450 owner here. Previous Lexus vehicles were 2015 ES-350 (got rid of it due to it's low clearance in the snow up here in NW PA) and 2015 RX-350. Had no intention of getting rid of the awesome 2015 RX-350 until I drove a loaner 2017 RX-350. I drove 5.5 hours to get my new RX-450 due to the limited availability of RX-450's in red anywhere near my home area. Mine has the luxury, trailer prep, Mark Levinson and cold weather packages, hands free read lid, adaptive bi-led headlights. panoramic roof and very quiet Michelin tires (finally!).
The first service is what you make it. I didn't have them run my car through the car wash scratch machine, but had them program the LPS (Lexus Personalized Settings) and addressed (or at least documented) several complaints that I had.
We're in the UK so our first service is at 10k miles/ year so not a huge waste of time
Just got my new (used) 2017 RX350 F Sport AWD with 6,800 miles on it. I just finished detailing it and wanted to show it off alittle. This car came factory with running boards, heads up display, ML package, tow package, cold weather package, 360 cameras, etc. The kid I bought it off of had it for 6 months and purchased it brand new from the dealer. It literally has the new car smell and (1) service (free) included.
I want to hear some opinions. I am going to tint the front windows, however I was wondering how you guys felt about powder coating the wheels high gloss black (any pictures would be appreciated)? Also the car only came with (1) key FOB, I found a guy that will do it for $300 (dealer $425). Anyone have any other ideas?
A search will yield pics of powder coated black wheels.
if you’re on the fence, I’d Plastidip them first to get an idea of what they’d look like.

My opinion is painting the wheels black would look retarded. They look great the way they are. Why not tint ALL the windows? Here in TX, that’s a given, but maybe it’s not worth it in your area. Is you key fob guy a licensed locksmith? Can he guarantee everything will work correctly? If so, it’s a good deal. Good luck, it’s a beautiful car!

Fsport in that color with red interior stands out. You have no worries.
New RX owner here. Traded in a ‘15 RWD GS350 F-Sport from California since I now live in Minnesota. Deleted all chrome, tinted windows and got xpel clear bra (full hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights, and door edges)
