2016 RX 8" vs. 12.3" Navigation System
How does the 8" Navigation System look vs. the 12.3" navigation system? Are they both the same but one is just smaller than the other one? and does the 12.3" display fold down, or is it always in the up position?

Saw some pictures of each screen and its the same size on the dash, the 8'' just has a large bezel to occupy the extra space. As for how the actual software displays on the screen I don't know for certain, but I would think it will be the same but with the 8'' you won't have the small side screen for media or a/c controls or fuel data.

That makes sense. I thought I read 12.3'' or 8'' navigation system in the brochure, but its 12'3'' nav system or 8'' multimedia system.

Wow, so MANY terrible colors going on in that picture. Good grief.
How is navigation not a standard option, in 2015? They made it standard on the GS....or are "including it for free".
They have remote touch on the steering wheel too? What???

The nav is available on the 8" model shown, with realtime traffic updates, along with Lexus Enform. I do prefer and will get the 12.5" ML system myself...

I was visiting BMW dealership and Lexus dealership. I told them that Audi has a screen that automatically goes down in dashboard when you turn off the car and comes back on when you turn on the car. Both dealerships told me the same thing. Cost effective, if that screen breaks or malfunctions, it will be easy to replace it without digging into front dashboard and railing that makes the screen automatically go up and down. Most Luxury car manufactures have this including BMW, Benz and now Lexus.
