I'm seeing most RX's on dealer's lot having VIN that's starting with a '2' so that's probably Canada.
However, the one I bought which is not yet at port has a VIN starting with a 'J' (Japan) .. what gives ??

Is it safe to assume that none of the RXs go via port, unless specifically mfged in Japan. CA version usually get trucked down right?
In regards to OP order. Is it by chance a Hybrid? I know that CA mfgs hybrids but maybe due to allocation issues this was a JP mfged one?

If it was some specific variant like a hybrid or Fsport it would make more sense.
Oh well, not complaining
