I am interested in this too, I really dont like the way those rims look... what do they look like without the inserts? I would assume the inserts are not structurally required... but that is just an uneducated guess.

They are removable and Lexus would never do that if the wheel was depending on them. They are strictly cosmetic. I am hoping them being black they do not stick out too bad, if not they are going to be removed.

Is there an extra charge to get the inserts or are they already covered in the luxury pkg price ($4610)?

The color inserts are not included, it only comes with black inserts. I don't plan to buy any color inserts anyway. The black looks awesome!

This is stock with black inserts and I love it! You can also see different color inserts from the RX brochure.

I would also like to see a picture of the rims without the plastic inserts.

Thanks for that image, not looking too bad in black. Not sure if I would like them a color.

The sliding forward feature for the rear seats has been a standard on the last three generations of RX models, as far as I know. I don't understand why more manufacturers don't offer this feature on their SUV's. It's a nice, useful feature

Anyway the dealer could install it if they has the parts. I think the wiring is there so it should not be a hard install.
