MP3 Album Art
Posted this in the main Audio forum as well, but found a surefire way to get rid of the default gracenotes thumbnail and show the proper embedded album art when playing USB media (mp3/m4a).
It looks like the player is looking for the EXIF tags in the embedded jpegs when deciding if it can display the album art. A lot of jpgs in mp3s have had their EXIF data stripped out, which is why the system doesn't show the pictures, and defaults to gracenotes. Quick solution is to copy the EXIF tags from a similarly sized jpg and then re-import it into the mp3. Doesn't matter what size the jpegs are - I have some which are 1500x1500 resolution, and they display perfectly fine now.
Well, perfectly is a misnomer, since that tiny 1" x 1" thumbnail barely shows anything on our wonderful nice big screen. Hope Lexus comes up with an update to increase the size of cover art. I'm not holding my breath though.

Delayed mist cycle wiper sweep
Mine doesn't have a delayed sweep like my 2001 LS430 had, but I don't seem to have any water to sweep, so I don't miss the delayed sweep.

Navigation announces toll booths
Apologies if this was already covered somewhere - I've searched the site and searched Google and saw nothing related:
Is it possible to turn off the "toll booth ahead" warning when us using navigation? I drive on Dallas North Tollway everyday, which has toll sensors at every single exit. It's very distracting constantly hearing the toll booth warning and distinguishing that from a turn announcement.

), try it.Same with head lights wash. I think in manual it was written that if you wash while standing and lights on, it will wash lights and after that each 6th spray of windshield.... The first part works, second I was not careful enough to test.
Who come with the idea about each 6th wash - can not understand!

- Has anybody tested F sport display while in cruising mode? It does not work, It is showing movements of a central "marble", but no reading of acceleration or brakes. May be they will change it in Model Year '17 software (like adding all speed cruising, braking when Cross Back Traffic sensed....
- Anybody know how to get update on MY'17 software on 2016 RX 450 Sport (delivered March 2016)? I was promised All Speed Adaptive Cruising mode (like on NX that I was testing) but got High Speed (working only over 40 km-h).

Nav System, 3D
1 Press the “MENU” button on the Remote Touch.
2 Select “Setup”.
3 Select “Navigation”.
4 Select “Detailed Navi. Settings”.
5 Select the items to be set. (Select to set display of the 3D city model map on/off.)

Interesting discovery...I changed the oil and filter myself this past weekend and 6.5qt came out. Per the owners manual 5.8qt is required for 450H with tow package. Is the overfill normal?

Two annoying things:
1. Tune dial for radio is too far away and too smooth. Anyone else feel like they are always reaching for the tune dial because its placed so far to the right on the headunit? The texture, or lack thereof looks luxurious, but it gives very little tactile feedback to tune stations when dialing.
2. Accelerator pedal SPROING sound....when you lift off (foot all the way off) the pedal quickly/suddenly, you should hear a funny sproing sound. Ive heard this on both F Sport and regular 350 models. not a big deal, but a detail that Lexus missed.
