That is good and all, as expected from the RX.

But man, the resemblance!

Edit: I would add that the RX looks far better in other angles, but I will never understand the attraction of a trapezoidal wheel arch over a round one. Yes I love the new front, especially of the F-sport.

Both pictures are of the Pontiac Aztec soooo....... If you put the RX next to one I dont think they look at all alike. You must be blind..... I do agree the square wheel arches are similar but Lexus pulls that look off while Potiac just totally failed in that regard.

I do not see any resemblance at all. I dont believe anyone would. Now when someone would comment on my 2014 Range Rover Sport looking like a Ford Explorer, I could definitely see it. It kind of quickly diminished my love for the RR.

Default Looking a bit better

The 2016 RX is starting to look a bit better to me. First photos had me running to hide. If they would just tune it down with those angles and get rid of the plastic wheel rim trim I might start to change my tune. Plus the interior is to busy for me as well. But-- I know lots like the look. So be it. I'm guessing they will take it down a bit next year. They don't want to throw all us faithful older owners out the door. I hope.

It deserves the credit. New RX has a lot of details, and brings the competition to another new level.

Btw, some ppl lurking here have really bad tastes.

Saw one up close when I was purchasing our GS, it is a great looking car, I'd even venture to say the best looking RX yet.

I personally believe that the new XC90, Q7, and X5 are superior in every facet aside from reliability and residual values; but those two factors are what publications like KBB value most so it makes sense that they picked the RX as their "best buy."

With that being said, the new RX is still a great SUV and anybody who buys/leases one certainly made a wise decision.

I actually like the Murano! I think the styling cues are very similar to the RXs. I really am curious which designer came up with the floating rear pillar look first. I actually am not a fan of this design or of Nissan for that matter.
After owning 2 previous generations of RXs I am going to get one as soon as I see an AWD 450h with Premium Package ( and no F sport) become available on the dealer lots. What else can give you this kind of comfortable ride and reliability?
Aztecs are really Fugly IMHO!

We ruled out 2016 because it seems the seats are not as comfortable as outgoing generation. It turned out a good decision because I didn't realize new RX is 5 inches longer. It would have been difficult (if not impossible) to fit in my garage. 2015 RX barely fits with few inches to spare. I guess if you have near empty garage or custom home then it might be fine. However, in Texas, with all the cookie cutter homes built since 2000s - it will be really hard to fit them. Of course, if you do not want to garage them, its all fine. But when it comes to my next car, I am afraid Lexus might have lost me there.

If you would believe it, 2016 Accord is as long as 2016 RX and definitely longer than 2015 RX. God! if the companies continue like this, they will size themselves out from the market. I know lot of people who buy based on what fits in the garage as they do not like parking on the street (especially with texas heat).

Your garage is way too small. Do you have junk/stuff along the walls, preventing you from parking all the way in? I have never seen a house that can't accommodate a common full-size car like the Accord. I have driven both the 2015 and 2016 extensively, and the 2016 is an improvement in every way.
