A lot of reviews complained these were 6500K (bluish-purpleish). How close to true white do you think they are? Trying to avoid the ricer look.

 

Its hard to tell in the picture but it did have a very slight blue hint to it... its pretty close to white though.

 

I just did the same and forgot if depressed down was on or off. anyhow, they are different between the left (drivers) and right (passenger) side cargo lights.

on the left, it's depressed down = off
on the right, it's depressed down = on.

I've revised them multiple times and it's always the same result. anyone else notice the same?

 

That is normal. Light casing for left and right side are same so switch will be reversed.

 

Hello members... Any VIDEOS on how to replace the vanity and cargo bulbs on the 2016 RX-350 F-Sport? I don't want to break anything LOL

I got both regular LEDs and CAN Bus LEDs coming. I believe the parts are #194 bulbs?

Light housing doesn't have deflector so this type is better.
This is what I got.

 

The pictures show it coming apart into 4 pieces. The lens; the bulb holder; the cover over the bulb; and the switch that falls out when everything comes apart.
You only need to remove the cover over the bulb. The rest can stay all together.
I put metallic tape inside to bulb cover to reflect light out of the cover area.

 

i like the single sided option. how did it work out for you? what was the color temp? 5000k?

 

It's working great. Yes, it's 5000K

 

Considered the single sided LEDs but the brightness seemed less than half of the multi-sided ones I got. Maybe it was marketing hype? Color is around 5000k to 5500K when comparing them to other lights of known temperature. Interior lights seem to be 4000k perhaps? The old filament T10 I removed were very yellow 2700K in comparison. Got these.

Here is a closeup pic of the light assembly. All 3 lights in back are the same. The OEM bulb is in the socket, and one bulb I removed is at the top of the frame to see the entire bulb.

 

So, have tried these? Are they better than Do they fit OK?

 

Does anyone know if there are OEM LED lights/bulbs available for the side doors (door courtesy lights)? Does the F-Sport or luxury package come with these? People seem to indicate here that the luxury package comes with LED courtesy door lights. Does anyone know the part number and what color temperature these OEM LED lights are?

 

Alternatively, does anyone know if the door courtesy lights have replaceable bulbs? It looks like they are from the part diagram. Does anyone know which LED bulb to get to replace the OEM yellowish incandescent ones?
