Having test driven a 2018 base model RX, and my F Sport, I think the F Sport has a stiffer suspension and, of course, a harsher ride with only me in the car. But I'd rather have that than a suspension that bottoms out with a full load. It's just a matter of personal taste.
I wouldn’t mind a little stiffer suspension. Cornering in my RX often feels like driving a bread truck that’s completely unsure on it’s feet. Don’t laugh, but I had an Oldsmobile Silhouette (Cadillac of minivans) that had the load leveling suspension in the back. That van was really up to the challenge! It handled good & road good for a van, could carry 7 people with ease & I could take the seats out & carry all kinds of heavy stuff & it didn’t blink an eye! Unfortunately, the 3.4 V-6 head gaskets were not good & it threw up all over itself internally (yuck). GM didn’t have the power train or safety worked out, but they sure knew what to do with the suspension.

The springs on my non-F RX certainly are soft. It squats noticeably when I put it in gear. It's not an issue and I like the ride, but I can't recall driving a vehicle so softly sprung.

Default 7 Pin Plug

Has anyone installed by dealer a 7 pin wiring harness for the tow hitch. We ave a camper ( 1580 GVW) but need a 7 pin for charging purposes.

I have a converter to go from 4 pin to 7 pin for our pop up trailer, bit no active charge pin. If you want to charge your trailer battery through your cars alternator then you need to run a dedicated power Cable directly to the battery and install a fuse close to battery for it.
i did that on our last Venza, but Never used that. That was a waste. I change it at home and use only LED lights in the trailer if we camp somewhere non electric.

If you are thinking of powering your fridge while driving, you might overload the RX alternator and battery.

I'm having a Curt 13282 installed tomorrow on my new to me 2017 RXh. I'm curious about this soft spring issue with towing. I don't tow a lot but there will be times I'm over 3,000 in my utility trailer and I'm wondering if there any progressive spring shock replacements for this vehicle? Progressive springs are nice as they don't hurt the soft unloaded ride as much and stiffen with increase in load.

You will definitely notice the squat. It’s significant. I also have the Curt hitch. To my knowledge, there are no aftermarket parts that will remedy this. If you find something, please share it!

Perhaps that’s the difference in the regular suspension vs. the F Sport’s. My regular gets squirrelly with 4 adults & luggage. The RX is a poorly designed SUV that’s never been improved. I’m looking to see how the new Genesis does in its first year. If it does well, I will be be seriously looking at them & leaving Lexus & their horrible old tech behind.

The FSport suspension probably helps some, but also the factor of trailer setup / load and how much tongue weight and ball height you have will play a big role also.My trailer has fairly light tongue weight even when "properly" loaded so I'll see. That is only a few times per year I use that, bicycle rack is other main use so hopefully it will be acceptable.

Default F-sport trailer hitch options??

I have not been able to find any trailer hitch options for a 2017 RX 350 F-sport. Has anyone done this?

What year RX F-sport do you have? Did you have to make any modifications? Can you post a picture? Just curious since the links says "excludes f-sport"

2017. No mods. Bolt on. Didnt have to cut anything and it doesn’t rub anything either.

I can assure you that tow package or not, the RX is a miserable tow vehicle! Don’t waste your time or money.

:-) well we’re hoping to tow a small pop up trailer (only 1k lbs) so not worried about doing it in style or not - just getting it to campground, and we already have the RX so just trying to make it work... if I had the choice it woulda been a jeep for the towing
