Is there any tow hitch solution for a 2021 RX450h Luxury model? Or will a RX350 stealth hitch work?

I’m not understanding what you’re asking. Stealth hitch? Luxury model? The same hitches should fit both the 450h & 350, unless I’ve missed something along the way here.

But what about the exhaust hangar on the 450h being different than the 350?

Check out this website, it lists both styles & talks about moving the exhaust hanger. Not available for F Sport.

yeah I’ve seen this one. I was hoping that the two fit correctly so I could buy the stealthhitches.com one. Might get one and try it to see.

I purchased my Curt Hitch from etrailer.com. They have good prices & customer service.

I think you "'ve missed something."

I think this one fits if yours is an RX350: CURT 13272 on Amazon
I actually bought the 13272 first. It didn't fit right. I returned it and bought the 13282. Worked great for my 2020 RX450h FSport.

Installation took about 1 hr. I needed help from my wife for about 10 minutes to lift the heavy beast to the location.

Presume you removed the damper?

I stand corrected. I can clearly see the offset around the exhaust on the one hitch.

Yes.

And can't tell the difference in ride quality before and after installing the hitch. More importantly, my wife can't tell the difference.

I didn't have to do anything to the exhaust hanger.

Did you consider putting the damper back on? Just spoke with a retailer that suggested the damper could be re-mounted with the hitch on first followed by the damper. I believe the bolts would be long enough. Thoughts?

I did think about it.

But then what was the point! The damper would be just dead weigh with the hitch installed.

The length of the bolts was not the issue. If you look at the photo of the hitch and the photo of the damper installed, you know why you can't have both.

Has "the retailer" you talked to actually done it him/herself, or does (s)he at least have a photo of it? There's simple not enough room.

(I copied the photo of the hitch from Amazon, and the photo of the damper from this post).

This photo of a damper is actually the front & not the back. I couldn’t figure out why there was an oil pan & oil filter housing in the rear of an RX

I get what you're saying. A solid metal bar across the same points as the damper kinda defeats the purpose of re-installing the damper. The retailer is a trailer shop. Apparently they haven't done many of these, so I don't think Ill be going there.

Mine is not a hybrid, so the hitch is slightly different. My hesitancy is 3 fold; the dealer says I shouldn't do it, likely because of the damper. Secondly, I really don't want to cut anything on the bumper cover. Thirdly, none of the manufacturers actually list their current hitches for the 2020/2021 model year FSports. I get how you and others have installed yours, but that little voice in the back of my mind is saying wait a bit.

Wrong photo.... My brain must have been taking a vacation....

But the points still are (1) the damper would do nothing whatsoever, and (2) it's difficult, if not impossible, to mount it with the hitch.
