Family of four
Male

This will be my wife's daily commuter. Our kids are older now, so our Honda Odyssey will be spending more time in the driveway since we no longer need to worry about car seats, diaper bags and baby strollers!

2016 RX350 AWD

1. 32 years old
2. Married, 1 lap dog
3. Male

Wife and I recently married. We had a 335i coupe before, but we're planning a family soon, so needed something with more space and way more reliable. Her mom has a 3RX, and my wife loves it. I didn't like the styling, and we were going to get an MDX. But when I saw the new 4RX, I liked the styling, so we waited to get one. Now we're both happy.

I didnt really like any of the older rx's. I was looking at many other suv's but narrowed it down to a few. I chose the RX in the end due to it being luxurious, reliable, aggressive, high tech, etc. My 2014 is350 is too small for 2 rear facing seats so I'm trading it in.
Don't trade in the fun car! I was in the same boat, but easily convinced my wife to take the RX Fsport and let me keep my 14 IS 350 Fsport for a daily.

Default 50 yo, wife and two kids, male

This is my fourth RX in approx. 10 years. I believe they are trying to get the BMW/Audi/MB/Volvo/Acura owners as well as keep those like me in their "middle years" who have been Lexus loyalists.

I'm in the lower end of that range and prior to this RX, NEVER considered one.
I could have had a GS and chose this instead since it was good looking and practical.
I never thought the original RX looked anything special.
This RX does and I like it.

Right on!

Seems like this year is attracting the biggest swath of people yet.

If everything goes right, I will have one later this year right about the time that the 17 will be coming out.

I'm 45 years young.
Married with a son, stepson and stepdaughter.
My wife drives a 2013 GS350 coming from a 2005 ES330, a 2005 Rav4 and a 2004 Camry.
Previous to my 2016 RX350, I came from a 2014 GX460, a 2006 LX460, a 2006 Civic, a 2003 Tundra and a 1994 Acura Integra.

Same here. I would have never thought about the RX from 2015 and previous year models because of the design being too feminine. I also did not like the design itself from the driver's seat...the way the shifter was, the area beneath the shifter amongst other things. Coming from a 2014 GX460 that had the spindle grill, I actually liked the spindle grill on the 2016 RX350 along with the 12.3 Nav screen, better gas mileage, better handling, better view looking out the windshield and just the overall look it has.

Looks like the way how aggressive the 2016 RX350 looks, it is selling more to the male buyers rather than the female ones. Because of this, sales of the vehicle are not as high as previous year models. I've only seen a few 2016 RX350s out right now and most of then are male drivers. With the previous year models, I remember seeing so many RXs but with female drivers. This 2016 RX350 is probably as aggressive as Lexus will get with this vehicle. I won't be surprised if they tone it down a bit for the years to come.

I am very happy with my RX.

33 male soon 2 kids, eventually 3.

I like the new look, but would like an upgrade to the power train and more confident handling. A 3.0 turbo would be nice. I eliminated Lexus for performance and lack of third row. There's no 3 row extension of the RX design, you have to jump to the body on frame SUVs.

Male, 62. This is my 3rd RX Hybrid - replaced my 2005 MDX with the 2008 RX450h, then traded that for a 2012 RX450h and just got my 2016 RX450h. All have been great and each one much better than the previous one. I love the 2016 - rides and handles like a dream. Looked at the Mercedes and the BMW but a lot of extra $$$ for not as nice a vehicle. I should probably have a pick-up for all the tools and crap I haul around, but I like the comfort and ride of the Lexus - (I can cram a lot of stuff in it with the seats folded down!)
