Anyone pick up an RX in Caviar??????

I got a Caviar w/ Black interior. Applied Collinite 845 the day after i got it. So far, I like it. I never pictured myself owning a black RX. I was going to go with safe and easy to maintain Silver, but in the end I wanted Mark Levinson and Caviar black was the only color option with that audio package. The metallic flakes seem to be effective at hiding the scratches and swirls that are usually very visible on black paint. It's a pretty classy color. I took some nice pics of it in the early morning sun up on Angeles Crest Highway. Will post them soon.

Love the Cavier paint. I get complements wherever I go.

Great Pictures. I work around these cars everyday. Because of the thickness and grade of the paint Lexus uses these paint colors change in various light angles. If you get a Lexus product brochure you will notice they show the spectrum of a certain color from light to dark. Caviar is one of the best looking new colors for 2016. Atomic Silver on the other hand has really made an impact and we have people wanting it more and more. I expect to see Atomic Silver available on the RX for 2017. If anyone wants to see more pictures of paint colors just let me know.

Atomic Silver is one of my favorite Lexus colors. I think it looks amazing on the IS series. I was a little disappointed that it isn't offered on the 2016 RX. I am loving the Caviar Black so far. In California we get a a lot of sun and i really love how the color looks in the sun. I am a little concerned about upkeep. I look at black cars around me and all I see are swirl marks and dings. I've invested in two cleaning buckets, grit guard, new microfiber towels, and a gilmore foammaster. No car washes ever!

I had the obsidian 2013 RX350 f-sport, and I currently have an obsidian 2012 ISF, and traded the 2013 RX350 to the '16 Caviar f-sport. I like it better than the obsidian.

Nope. The f-sport doesn't have any wheel options. I asked the Lexus dealer if they would swap the 20" wheels with the non f-sport 20" wheels, and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They probably see it as a "downgrade" and didn't even charge me for the swap
I didn't like the stock f-sport wheels as I found them way too busy for me. I prefer the wheels to be somewhat simpler in design, and thought these looked better anyway...

Ah I see now. I like those wheels as well. Worried that the F-Sport wheels will be difficult to clean.

for you caviar black owners, what is your experience with how the color holds up to dirt and swirl marks? i really like the caviar color but i am so worried that it will show dirt, swirl and dings like regular black.
any first hand feedback as to how the color compares to another silver or grey with regards to the above would be appreciated.
thanks guys!
