It's not legal in CA, neither are 60% of residents of Los Angeles. But thank you!!

Wow, that is pretty dark. Tinting the windshield probably makes the fronts seem even darker. I had Pinnacle F1 30% done on the fronts and I think 30 is a little dark....I might go 40 next time.

It looks darker in pictures, I just wanted the car to all match. I didnt want factory tint then a light tint in the fronts. I dont like the contrast and I also like the privacy.

Windshield tint is clutch it is clear but blocks a lot of heat.

35% tint over the existing factory tint on rear windows ends up 10%. At least that what it tested out on mine after completion. I also have 20 % on the front sides as you.

I'm new to the Club Lexus forum and recently bought our first Lexus RX 350 last month. I'm planning on having our RX windows tinted but don't know how to proceed. Would the windshield tint affect how the sensors, camera and HUD work? Thanks!

Welcome!

Tinting the windshield will not affect anything. HUD is just a reflection off the windshield and mine works fine. I dont see how the camera would be affected.

Make sure you select the correct ceramic tint for the windshield tho.

Stay away from any "metallic" tint since it may potentially cause problems with some electronics...

Thanks for the advice. I have gone to a tint shop and had initial conversation with the guy who runs it. I just have to set a time for them to work on the car.
