I'd really like one of these! It would be nice for going to a theme park or for hiking. There are a ton of times I wish I didn't have a key to hold onto. Or I really wish we had something similar to Range Rover with their waterproof wristband thing.

The Range Rover band does look very cool.

Better still, it would be nice to program my smart watch as a key.

Bump, has anyone got any luck with getting one? I've search and it seem like every other model have it, even the older generation RX besides this 4th gen.

Default Does 2016 RX 350 have smart card key?

I checked online and only say it for 2010-2015 models of RX 350. Is that dis-continued for 2016 models and up?

Here in Australia the F-Sport has the card standard but we don't have remote start, I'd say they don't have the card in US/CAD as you do have remote start - obviously you need a fob with buttons for the remote start. We don't have ANY cars with remote start, I guess it's a regulation in Nanny Australia.

Default Smartaccess Card Key

I was wondering gif anybody has purchased the Smartaccess Card Key and gotten it to work with the RX? I was watching a you tube video on the RCF Track Edition and it appears that the TE comes with the SA Card Key as standard. I did a quick run though on Lexus' website of their models and it doesn't seem that any other car comes with it standard but I found an old thread where some people were buying it for an old generation IS and getting it to work. I can't even seem to find anything about it on the Lexus website to list it as an available accessory.

Anybody have any information on this accessory?

Really quick for those that don't know what this is, it's basically a key the size of 3 stacked credit cards that's kept in your wallet. It doesn't have any of the operating door or trunk buttons so you simply rely on walking up to the car and unlocking it using the door handles.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here....does this card start the car also? Because if you still have to carry the fob around with you.....?

Yep car starts with the card. I love it as it's not bulky at all like a regular fob.

Just want to add some data points to this thread, card with FCC ID HYQ14AEB wont work with 4th gen RX. The whole story is this: I ordered this card for my 18' GX. Before using Techstream to register it with the GX. I decided to try with the RX to see if it works for not, since there IS no valid sources telling us which card would work with the 4th gen RX. Well, it didn't work, but I was able to register it for the GX though. I'm very confident that there should be a card with the right FCC ID work with the RX. The problem is that at roughly $300 a card, it's gonna be a damn expensive research before knowing which one works. At least we can eliminate FCC ID HYQ14AEB

One more data point... HYQ14CBB does not work as well even though the frequencies match. This was on a 2016.
