On my test drive of an f sport and non f I noticed something peculiar in the steering wheel. The steering while in sports mode was weighted appropriately but always wanted to snap back to center.
Is this something that's considered normal or just the particular stock?

Were you accelerating when the wheel snap straight? If yes, that what you get when you have FWD biased car, its called torque steer. Your front wheels will always want to point forward when accelerating, or sometimes pull to one side. This can cause the sterring wheel to want to snap to center. I do prefer the driving dynamics of RWD better for these reasons.
