I’m getting the nightfall mica color, I won’t have any issues with discoloration, right?

No issues. Assuming it is correctly installed, you have to look hard to even tell it’s there. Can’t promise it won’t show ten years from now since the covered area has some UV protection whereas the rest does not (presumably keeping a good coat of wax on the bare painted surfaces may help mitigate this difference down the road?).

i dont like PPF for this reason

I ended up getting a full on wrap of my LC500 because 1) the wrap is about as thick as PPF 2) it protects more as nothing is exposed 3) edges wont turn pitch dark like the PPF

Plus it looks amazing. its like i got 4 different colors on the same car (base color is infrared)

Nope. Just wash however you normally would. You can even wax it just like the rest of the car.

It make the paint POP! Easy washing as well. Njoy

when you say CLEAR BRA do you mean clean protective film coverage ? I've been thinking about that myself.. my RX already had dealer applied paint sealant

The Protective film is worth the dough. Get a full front end as well as side mirrors and the little flair on each rear door b4 the rear tires lowest point, these are usually the catch all for road debris. RX350L 22

I am also a big fan of the Xpel PPF on all my vehicles. In our harsh Canadian climate it does wonder to protect the front end of the vehicle.

For my 2022 RX 450h I had the complete hood , Front bumper , fog lights, Mirror caps and dog leg on rear doors . I then had 3 coats of Nano ceramic applied and can now say I am happy

Paid $1430 CAD for the PPF installed by the same guys that do our Ferrari at the dealer

We drive on the highway on weekends mostly and I suspect that is when the knicks were incurred due to the high speed. I've decide to get a clear bra PPF kit ASAP from carprotectionpros.com for the bumper, hood, headlights, and mirrors. have any of you installed such protection on your cars? I'm going to go with the pre-cut Xpel Ultimate and install myself. I've done decal installs on various things and have experience with applying this kind of adhesive film. I haven't purchased yet so if you guys know of any other resellers or deals can you share your info and experience? The PPF kit from carprotectionpros.com comes out to $399 (deluxe kit with Xpel ultimate, install squeegee, tax, and shipping).
Another option I am considering is getting an Opticoat treatment, but somehow I don't feel like it will protect the paint like the urethane Xpel film. If I install the Xpel film can I still opticoat over it and or wax the surface as well as the rest of the RX? any insight would be appreciated!!
Just Purchased a 2022 Lexus RX 350, previously owned a 2010 and am trading in my 2017. I am going to have front bumper down in PPF, not the hood, half looks stupid with line across centreline, full hood too expensive. ceramic coating on top of bumper and entire car. Previous vehicles all took most of damage on bumper, never on hood.

Default ISO bra/front protector

I'll be dolly towing the new to me RX350 behind our motorhome. Since it's black I'm looking for a vendor suggestion for a bra to cover the front while being towed to protect it from chips.

I purchased the COLGAN T-STYLE FULL BRA - BLACK CRUSH FABRIC and the Colgan Mirror Bra - Black Crush Fabric. https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/

This is the front cover I purchased. Fits like a glove. I use it on trips out of town.

Default 2021 RX350 hood chips

Had the wife install 3M ScotchCal on the front hood.
She has better eye hand coordination and she does my iPhone screen protectors too. Lol

I read that the 23 RX350 hood pick up hood rock chips easily. What has been the experience with the 2016-2022 RX350s?
