Default 2016 RX450H F-Sport Malfunction

Hi everyone, just picked up a F-Sport over the weekend. My wife was driving it yesterday and the out of no where there were 5-6 different malfunctions. The ones i remember are ABS, lane keep assist, parking brake, and a couple others. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything. Has anyone had the same issues on a brand new vehicle? The car is at service now and they said it would be at least a week before I get it back.....pretty upsetting for a brand new car.

I don't have a 450 hybrid, so I'm only speculating but I wonder if it has anything to do with driving in the rain? Maybe something got wet and has caused a short somewhere either in a harness or component. We did consider getting the RX 450 but ultimately decided on the 350 but that is discouraging to hear about the hybrid model. I hope the 350 doesn't encounter the same issue. Hopefully it will be resolved and identified so that it will restore confidence in the car!

Sounds like they are having to order a part.

Happens seldom but even Lexus is not 100%.

They said they have to contact Lexus and have them bring in a tech to diagnose the issue since its a brand new vehicle.

Sounds like a computer or sensor malfunction. It's not really possible that all these things could ACTUALLY break at the same time

Sorry to hear you have these problems with a new car, man. That would be pretty upsetting to me, too. I had a Mercedes AMG that kept on having nav unit problems (the COMAND thing) that I kept on having to take back, new, and that was annoying as all hell.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Just wondering though, did the dealership give you a loaner?

Got the vehicle back. They claimed it was debris on the wheel speed sensors.

Uh.... Not sure where that is located, but I suppose you could avoid driving on any dirty roads...
