No need to remove negative battery terminal.

Simply pop from one side and the cable will be there. Attach the cable, TEST by turning on the DOOR light on the middle map light area.
MAKE SURE when you reinstert the door sill you do not get the rubber caught inside the door sill. Just be careful and make sure the rubber is on the border of the door sill
Installed these right when they were delivered today. Took 5mins each side, pop out a few clips per side and insert plug and play socket and good to go. Got the hybrid blue for non-hybrid.

Funny as I got the non-Hybrid white to match my Ultra White 450h.

interesting, my lux rx450 has the white not blue not a big deal, the white are fine for us.
My 2017 450h with luxury package also has white LEDs illuminating the front door sills. No lights in the rear doors. Seems Lexus stopped using blue LEDs. I must say the white coordinates better with the white door lights.
