That's so weird! Like literally when I try to put the bulb in, it's clear as day it will not go in. I wonder if they made the bulb smaller because of all the reviews saying it's too big to fit into the housing. Thanks for posting though! I'm going to have to try again tomorrow. I still have the bulbs lying around somewhere lol...

So 450h4bvrs is right! I found out that I really had to push the bulb into the socket for it to fit. Otherwise the bulb would hit the housing and i wouldn't be able to lock the bulb in. Thanks!

I saw those too, I dont think they are the same? I cant find the lumen output on these anywhere, the individual package has 6000 output. I am not 100% though because I have not purchased and tried.

I ordered the set and will report back.
If they are not 6000 out I'll just send them back.

The dual pack works and this is for the reverse lights not the parking lights as stated in the thread title.
It should be changed to reflect that for anyone else searching for a way to upgrade those to LEDs in the future.

They are much brighter than stock.
Any brighter and I'm sure we are violating some DOT rule.

I do not think the Philips are any brighter than stock. The brightness looked exactly the same as stock bulbs. Color temperature is different though. I don't see an improvement so I am returning mine to Amazon tomorrow. OP's lights are brighter but they are probably not DOT approved.

FYI the JDM astar bulbs are 6000K color temperature. "xenon white", also known as bluish white. I am having a hard time finding pure white bulbs (5000K). VLED has them but definitely not as bright.
