Yep definitely not a slip - my 2019 ES with an 8 speed is actually worse on the rolling stop/slowdown.

Slight hesitation depending on conditions, speed etc. I stopped noticing it as we've had the car for over three years now.

I just purchased a 2020 RX 450h F Sport and the left side mirror also vibrates over bumps or rough roads. I’m thinking about taking it to the dealer. What did you do?

Mine is a 2020 and I have about 7000 miles.

I think that any 8 speed or more vehicle is going to have some hesitation when demanding a quick gear change. When I test drove several vehicles I took them out to the highway and worked them over for on ramp merges and passing situations. I have a 50 mile each way commute on a crazy highway in CT (Merritt Parkway). I need to be able to accelerate quickly with minimal hesitation. I tried an Acura TLX with ZF9 transmission and that thing had a horrible lag in downshifting.....I would be moving at say 30 or 40 mph....let car slow down, and then accelerate rapidly. The Acura just sat there for what seemed forever. Immediately removed it from my list. When I drove the RX350 I tried the same procedure and although there is some hesitation, it is very acceptable. I have never had a long hesitation and definitely not a slip of transmission (I owned a car years ago that had two transmission failures, so I know what a slip feels like).

So I am very happy with my RX....it has been great so far and my commute is very comfortable. Good luck!

Not OP, but I've had 2 different 4RX, and driven a few other loaner 4RXs. The side mirrors all vibrate/shake over bumps. It's just an imperfect design due to the single mount of the mirror.

This is the problem I am concerned with. I wonder if the 2021 will have the same problem.

Yup, same experience here so unfortunately an inherent design issue.

However, and this is something I'd watch out for (and have seen this on a few loaner 4RXs), is the side mirrors vibrating when you're NOT driving over bumps or rough roads, which would suggest the assembly is coming loose.

Lane keep assist is pretty garbage on my 2017 rx...pretty much touches edge of the lane before turning... like moving in a zig zag pattern on the lane lines and not staying center lane

even the 2019 elantra has better lane keep assist, you could literally use your phone while driving on the freeway

2020 RX is better. They added the lane tracing feature to help.

I hadn't noticed that but my daughter pointed it out to me when she drove my SUV. She said there was something weird about the windshield.

Not really an issue but it is annoying. The glare from the sun makes the instrument panel hard to read. This happened to my 2016 I had also which is the same design as the 2020 I have now.
Not sure if it was made of glass instead of the clear plastic would make a difference. Has anyone notice or is it just me...

Just noticed today that my inside rear view mirror is loose and rattles on bumpy roads. Is this something easily fixable or do I have to take it to the dealer? Will basic warranty cover it?

Some light tint should solve the problem.
