blacked out chrome
#18
Ok!
Doing tons of research...
I'm learning that it looks best when the engine chrome matches the roof as well as the rear chrome bar. Kind of stream lines it.
As far as how it would look on the side mirrors, no idea.
THANK YOU for the metallic look! I thought it would look bad because of the silver specs but actually looks REALLY good. Looks factory! Amazing. And from far away it has a nice clean look to it.
Another thing, I'm digging how the RC-F chrome looks on the grill. We can achieve this look by tinting the chrome. It looks good!
Matte is still another option as is glossy...
SO what are your thoughts. I'm looking for something that looks aggressive and clean.
My car is Nebula Grey Pearl.

Thank you aznkorboi for your critique. Yes, the silver specs blended very well with the mica specs. I would try the glossy black with your nebula gray pearl. The matte look too much like the plastic flare on the wheel well.

Thanks for the input. Never had a car wrapped before so I'm always debating between the tint, matte, or glossy.

I could not see any seams (great job!) other than at the bottom (#4). Are there seams other than location 4 (I numbered potential seam areas on your photo)? I saw a video where someone used a huge sheet of wrap to avoid seams. Did you use the 1x5ft 3MM sold on amazon? If so, how many did you have to buy to complete the grill? Thanks!

There are 2 pieces on the grill frame. The #4 seam is the gap where the pieces connected. I divided the wrap into 2 sections. The top part is easier to do than the bottom. The lower piece has 3 dimples so it took more time and patience to complete. Yes, I bought a 3X5ft 3M on Amazon. I was lucky this piece is just big enough when I made the cut (always cut it larger than the area you try to cover). I think 4X5ft is better.
