Just bumping this thread as I just placed my order for some Vossen VFS2's 22x9 ET 38 in custom finish gloss black. I originally went in to order 22x10.5 ET 30 but the shop guy convinced me not to as it would stretch out the tire and he said he wouldn't recommend it. I'm now having second thoughts and want to get y'alls opinion. Should I go and have him order what I really went in to get? How exposed is the rim past the tire for those that have the 22x10.5 ET 30? I have some careless family members who drive my cars from time to time and will curb them.

Thanks! No rubbing issue up front but in the rear I get a slight rub on the outer fender on BIG dips at HW speeds (I folded the outer fender tabs up and that helped) - perfectly fine around town though. a +30 offset seems like the true sweet spot... but I prefer the flush look.

Looks great! what is the wheel size? 22x9’s or 22x 10.5’s? What’s the offset?

Default Running 275-40-22 with a 40 mm offset. I have Niche Verona wheels 22x10.

I'm used to driving low cars with no wheel gap, so I may go thru withdrawals stepping into the RX. Any members here running 275's or 285's, and if so, are you running 40 or 45 series tires? Mainly looking for feedback from people with lowered RX's to find out if there are any issues with rubbing whether it be when turning lock to lock, or hitting freeway bumps/dips. Trying hard to fill up that wheel gap. Any feedback, and better yet pics would be greatly appreciated
