I have been using K&N in all my car since 2005. I don't live in dusty area, so I have no problem with it.
Instead of cleaning it every 50,000 miles. I just put a new one in every time.

I have used K&N filters for years, in motorcycles, and they are truly a great product. I intend to use them in my RXes as soon as I don’t get the free ones anymore. Like Skygc, I don’t bother cleaning and re-oiling them, I just replace the filter when it is time.

Lol is that cheaper? Replace them instead of cleaning and oiling? I had it on my old car it was such a hassle. I love the AEM ones but they dont have the size for the RX

so how often are you replacing them? Even 50k miles? Cleaning sounds like a pain in the ***. might be easier just to replace. Would make sense to repalce every 50k miles but not 15k like a paper filter.

prob around 40-50 yeah. Do we save any money or does it break even?

I'm using aFe Pro Dry on my 16 RX. It's easy to clean and doesn't use oil.

bad news they dont sell kn filter for 450h. learned the hard way. website says non US models only. got screwed out of $60 since i thought mine off ebay. just talked to k n
