Default EZ Pass Tag Position

I used to position my EZ Pass tag high up, in the center of the windshield, where my vision of the tag was hidden by the rear view mirror. That is no longer possible. I was thinking of placing it behind the navigation screen, totally out of my eyesight. Any thoughts about this placement and/or any other suggestions?

Mine is definitely hidden for the most part by the mirror. Why is it not possible?

Mine is on the top right corner of the windshield glass, hidden behind the tint strip.

There is a "box" in the center of the windshield, by the top. I suspect it is the radar that controls Assisted Cruise control, LKA, etc. If I put the EZ Pass tag below it, I can see it clearly, not blocked by the mirror.

Correct that is the tech up there but I can swear mine is in a spot where it's pretty much hidden. I'll take a picture to share.

That's where I have mine - it's white and I don't like the look of it from the outside, mostly a dark windscreen area and then you have this bright white box sticking out a mile. Mine works fine there, I wrapped it in a piece of black foam (from some packaging) and just pushed it in between the nav screen and dash, does't move at all. Can only see it if standing next to the car and looking for it really, very unobtrusive.

I'm in Australia and just saw the photo of the sticker type tag, ours here are a white plastic box type, similar to a portable HDD but smaller.

MN driver here, i installed some sticker tags in 2 of our 3 vehicles, i was instructed to be 4" from the top, so about the bottom of the tint line. to the right of the mirror.
We have a few express lanes, and they patrol electronically, but troopers also look visually for the sticker, so i was told not to tuck it up in the tint.
Mn pass works for her on 1 highway only. but she enjoys it, and if she is happier when she gets home, all the better, lol

i have not installed the third tag in the lexus, the other 2 vehicles the wife drives to the office.

I have mine next to the windshield camera and humidity detector behind the mirror on the right side. The driver does not see it, but the passenger sees it.

If somehow, the toll is not read, the toll camera image will look for the sticker and plates to charge you instead of sending you a fine.

Here's how mine is mounted. Pretty hidden from me while I'm driving but for others will depend on the seat and your height etc.

Thanks, but I tried that and I can see it clearly and it is annoying. I am going to try putting it behind the Nav/Info monitor, totally out of my line of sight.

If you hate the ezpass this much why not just get the one that attaches to the license plate?

EZPass discontinued those sometime ago - so many were getting damaged.

Default Where do I mount EZPass?

Wondering if it should be on the left, right or below that black part of the windshield
