Backup sensors and hitch mounted bike rack

Hitch hauler on 2018 350 RXL
So...first time I traveled with my hitch hauler and could not even back out of my driveway...sensor kept "thinking" it was preventing a collision. Turned off my Park Assist and collision sensor...worked. However...it did NOT work when we tried to get out of Wendy's. Embarrasing...every sensor was turned off and yet I had to reverse...go a couple inches...shift into drive....then reverse....go a couple inches until brake...etc. Any ideas?

Help w/ PKSA & PKSB w/ bike rack
Re: 2020 RX450h
I used my new Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack for the first time today since buying it & my 450 a couple of weeks ago. I attached the rack and secured the bike. As I put the car in R and backed out of the garage the alerts were visually and audibly occurring. Annoying, but the car is doing its job. My previous Lexus, a 2012 ES, would make similar audible and visual warnings, but I could hit a button that would silence them. No big deal. But that older vehicle didn’t have the brake assist. So my 450 kept braking — FIRMLY BRAKING — every few feet as I was trying to back out of my garage and eventually my driveway. I’m sure it looked funny to anyone witnessing this, but quickly grated my nerves, ha/ha. Before backing into the street I finally put the car in P, and turned off the PKSA to stop the beeping and PKSB to stop the automatic braking.
If this is what I need to do each time I put it my bike rack on, I’ll do it. However, are there any other suggestions for such an override?
Fwiw, I will not leave the bike rack on the car except for using it with the bike, as I want to use the PKSA and PKSB features, and not have those features off 100% of the time.
TIA

I have to shut it off each time I tow a trailer or use a rear bike rack. Luckily you can do it easily with a couple button presses on the steering wheel. I think it is worth it to have this extra safety feature when backing up under normal conditions.

Thanks. To clarify, you shut off both that I referenced in my post, PKSA & PKSB, or only the PKSB?
